2017 Twin Cities Jazz Festival
The Twin Cities Jazz Festival is a three-day music festival with headline acts on multiple public stages in and around Mears Park, plus performances at over 20 area clubs, bars and studio venues. Recognized as one of the region’s premiere music festivals, Jazz Fest brings top Jazz artists to Saint Paul to share the joy of jazz with thousands of people. Headliners for the 19th annual Jazz Fest include John Coltrane Quartet pianist McCoy Tyner; Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Terence Blanchard; Anat Cohen with Choro Aventuroso; and keyboardist, organist, and Minnesota-native Bobby Lyle. Admission to concerts on the main stages remains free due to the support of many generous sponsors and supporters.

31st Annual PleasureLand RV Show & Go
The 31st Annual PleasureLand RV Show & Go is a great Fourth of July tradition, offering fans a chance to see ridiculous head-to-head drag racing action as well as wide-open wheel-to-wheel racing on the 2.5-mile Competition Road Course. The event’s finale is the 100-mile, 40-lap Trans Am Series race Sunday. On the drag strip, the second race in the three-race Muscle Car Series features cars that can run over 200 mph! NASA road racing will be on the road course all weekend as well. The event includes a classic car show, fireworks and live music. Three great racing events for the price of a single ticket! 36th Annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals
The Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals features the world's fastest cars, the most skilled drivers and a legion of crazy race fans who can't get enough of the thunderous power pumped out by an 10,000-horsepower dragster flying down the drag strip at over 300 mph. Behind the wheel are the biggest names in drag racing: John Force, Antron Brown, Tony Schumacher, Ron Capps. Every ticket includes a pit pass where you can see crews tear down and rebuild cars between runs, and where you can meet your favorite drivers for autographs. 5th Annual 10,000 Lakes Concours d'Elegance
The fifth annual 10,000 Lakes Concours d’Elegance will be held Sunday July 30, 2017 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. along the shores of Lake Minnetonka in historic Excelsior, Minn. This exceptional show will feature more than 180 historic, superbly-conditioned automobiles, watercraft and motorcycles. This year’s event will benefit Bridging. Concours d’Elegance is French for “competition of elegance.” Automobile, watercraft and motorcycle owners were required to apply in advance noting the historical significance of their vehicle. Each had to meet set criteria in order to participate. A panel of experienced vehicle aficionados will judge the participants with awards distributed in the afternoon. The public is also welcome to vote for the “People’s Choice” award. A variety of artists and entertainers will perform throughout the day, including the Minnesota SkyVault Theater Company from 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The Rochester-based troupe specializes in improvisation, music, and audience participation. Tickets are $25 at the gate. Presale tickets are $20 and available at 10000lakesconcours.com. Free admission for kids 12 and under as well as military personnel with current ID. Beer and wine will be sold throughout the day along with delectable lunch fare. A free shuttle service will be provided from Minnetonka High School and street parking available. Proceeds from the 5th Annual Concours d’Elegance will benefit Bridging. Bridging is a nonprofit organization serving the greater Twin Cities that provides donated furniture and household goods to families and individuals transitioning out of homelessness and poverty. 6th Annual Beer Dabbler at Twin Cities Pride
The Beer Dabbler at Twin Cities Pride June 23, 2017 5:30-9:30pm Loring Park Minneapolis, MN The Beer Dabbler at Twin Cities Pride is back for a sixth year of celebrating and supporting the GLBTQ community. In the spirit of diversity and inclusion, this year each participating brewery will craft a unique beer inspired by the Lady Gaga song of their choosing. Dabblers can sample their way through 50 Lady Gaga-inspired beers, many of which will only be available at the festival, including a New England-style IPA from Fair State Brewing Cooperative called "Baby You’ll be Famous,” or Bad Weather Brewing Company's "Pucker Face" raspberry wheat sour. Exactly how the participating breweries choose to interpret their chosen Lady Gaga song is up to them, so attendees can expect a wide range of unique and one-off beers, in addition to their flagship offerings. Beyond unlimited beer samples, Dabblers will again be able to enjoy food trucks, live music, and more festival fun in Loring Park to help kick off the Twin Cities Pride Festival. 9th Annual Street Car Showdown
Brainerd International Raceway's 2017 Muscle Car Series kicks off Memorial Day weekend with the 9th Annual Street Car Showdown, a display of raw speed and power on the quarter-mile drag strip. The Showdown is the first race in the three-race series, featuring seven Heads-Up Classes, with cars that can run 6-7 seconds at over 200 mph. They have the kind of horsepower that yanks their front end off the ground when they launch from the starting line. The event also includes the SCCA Harvey West Classic on the 2.5-mile Competition Road Course. It features great wheel-to-wheel racing action. Two exciting events for the price of a single ticket!
